Project Sprouts – Fenghuang School

The desks were so bad at the Feng Huang School that the children could hardly write on them. They were cracked, broken, and generally in very bad shape. The school had limited financial resources to purchase new desks for the students. So with your generous support, Mondoro Charities purchased 372 desks for the students along with nine desks for the teachers.

This September as the children return back to school, they each will have a new desk. The teachers will also have new desks. The classrooms will look cleaner and brighter. The principal of the school feels like this will greatly improve their overall educational experience.

The children, teachers, and parents of the students at the Feng Huang School would like to say Xie Xie Ni! (Thank you in Chinese!)

Bat Com—Hanoi Vietnam

The price of rice and food staples continues to rise with the cost of fuel, and hyperinflation is hitting many Asian countries. Those who are hit the hardest are those who are not able to care for themselves, the children, particularly, the Vietnamese orphans.

With your continued generous support, Mondoro Charities provided a Vietnamese orphanage with rice, food, clothes, toys, tiles to help them complete a building, and other essentials they needed. Many of these orphanages depend solely upon support from generous people like you. The children would like to thank you for your generous giving as this has given them more meat and vegetables in their daily diet.

In the West, we may consider three-meals-a-day a regular part of life. Not everyone in Asia is so fortunate. Not everyone can afford to eat three good meals a day. For many, one good meal a week is all they can afford and some not even that. Bat Com hopes to continue to seek out those worthy organizations that could use our help and support.

Cám ơn as they say in Vietnamese—Thank you for your continued support to our Project Bat Com—Bowl of Rice!
